宋代相当重视教育,曾先后三次掀起大规模的全国性的兴学运动。福建在重教兴学风气的推动下,由唐时的“闽人不知学”到宋时一跃成为全国文化教育的先进区域,展示了人文鼎盛的历史风采。

The government in Song Dynasty attached great importance to education and lunched three massive movements of promoting education successively nation wide. Promoted by this atmosphere, Fujian rided its education of backwardness and became an advanced area of culture and education in China showing its wonderful historical charm of all caltural activities in human socity.
