美国在北非地中海开始实施“先德后日”战略并取得成功,与中国所付出的战略代价和所作的战略支持密不可分。这期间中国战场的战略地位和作用没有减低,反而因盟国战略投入的不足而战略责任更加艰巨。中国战场的保持仍然是美国实施全球战略的基本前提之一。

The initial success that the United States implemented Germany first strategy in the North Africa and Mediterranean was closely related to China's strategic cost and support. China bore more responsibility than that in the past because of no enough strategic supports from allied country during this time. The maintenance of China theatre still was one of essential prerequisite to the American global strategy.
