A Survey on Linear Ternary Equations with Prime Variables ──Baker's Constant and Vinogradov's Bound

In this paper,we first give a brief survey of the recent progress on Baker's Problem. Secondly, we discuss the latest quantitative progress on Vinogradov's Bound. The material comes essentially from the recent joint works of Prof. M. C. Liu of the University of Hong Kong and the author.
