La Nausee and Sartre's Early Thought

Freedom theory is the core of Sartre's thought, but freedom in his early thought is interpreted as that of a 'lonely man', which is embodied in La Nausee. Through the novel, Sartre brings to light modern man's living predicament, and exposes his own thinking perplexity; expresses pessimism in life, and embodies a strong desire to get rid of the absurd reality.
