This paper introduces geological structures and layered structures, analyzes drilling keys and puts forwards detailed methods. Meanwhile, faster drilling techniques are discussed in detail according to drilling assembly, optimum selection of drilling bits, drilling parameters, drilling fluid systems and safe technical measures. Applications in Pubei 4 11 well and in Pubei 6 1 well show that penetration rate is greatly improved and drilling cycle is obviously reduced.
