This article discusses the effect of objective restricted conditions on architecture imagination in the course of architectural creativity. The restrictions consist of objective and subjective ones. Viewing architecture design as a kind of thinking based on objective restrictions and predominated by subjective restrictions, the author suggests that architects should improve their professional quality, and that by relying on and further surpassing restrictions, they can change objective restrictions into subjective ones.
