It is held that assuming the creative teaching is the major channel by which the creativity in students can be cultivated in institutes of higher learning.In the creative teaching what to be done includes:the setup of the instructional atmosphere beneficial to the development of creativity;the adoption of the exploratory pedagogy leading the student's creative learning;training the divergent thinking while imparting knowledge;the optimizating of the student's knowledge structure to strengthen the foundation for creativity;the full tapping of the creative elements intrinsic in instructional materials.
