The two decades when the Communist Party of China(CPC) built its important theories

理论是政党的灵魂。我党在 1 92 1年 7月 2 3日成立至今的 80年中 ,有过两个理论建设的辉煌时期 ,这就是与毛泽东的名字紧紧联系在一起的、1 93 7-1 947的十年延安时期和与邓小平的名字紧紧联系在一起的 1 982 -1 992的十年改革开放时期。正是在这两个时期 。

Theory is the soul of a political party. During the 80 years from June 23, 1921 to the present, the CPC has experienced two fruitful periods of theory building, namely, the Yan'an Decade from 1937 to 1947, which is closely related to the name of Mao Zedong, and the Opening and Reform Decade from 1982 to 1992, which bears the name of Deng Xiaoping. It is during these two decades of theory building that the CPC had its two important accomplishments -- the frameworks of Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory.
