On Du Fu's Military Ideas

杜甫在唐代是一位很有“军事意识”的伟大诗人。他不仅懂兵法、识军机 ,而且很有战争策略的眼光。

Du Fu was a great poet with 'military ideas'. He knew the art of war as well as military plan. He also had insight into strategy of war. To study his thoughts of war is helpful to have a good understanding of his thoughts and action and also the relationship between the war and the people in the Tang dynasty.
