Having a correct understanding of our national conditions is the critical problem of carrying out the socialist revolution and construction. MAO Ze-dong, proceeding from actual conditions of China, made great efforts to explore an socialist road which was suited to China. DENG Xiao-ping made a serious summary on our country's experiences and lessons in socialist construction. He paid more attention to the analysis of the national conditions and put forward the socialist primary stage theory, it opened the door which can proceed from actual conditions and creatively explored socialist road with unique Chinese characteristics.
