护骨素及其配体与骨质疏松

摘要 护骨素及其配体是近2年来发现的两种重要蛋白质,可能是揭开骨质疏松症的发病机理的突破口。研究表明,护骨素为一种诱饵受体,本身无传导信号的作用,但在与其受体护骨素配体结合后,可阻止核因子KB受体激活物与护骨素配体结合,使核因子KB受体激活物活化受阻,不能发挥其破骨作用。因此护骨素、核因子KB受体激活物与护骨素配体共同组成了一个完整的体系,在维系骨的健康方面发挥着重要作用。保持该系统的平衡是维持骨健康的先决条件。
