劳丹的科学知识社会学实质上是批判的科学知识社会学。他在对已有知识社会学批判的基础上形成了自己的知识社会学思想。劳丹的知识社会学思想的主要内容是对曼海姆知识社会学和布鲁尔科学知识社会学的批判。
Virtually,SSK of Laudan is a critical theory.On the basis of the comments on the classical sociology of knowledge,Laudan has formatted his thought of knowledge sociology,which is composed of the criticism of Manheim's sociology of knowledge and Bloor's SSK,division of sociology of knowledge,ascertainment about content of knowledge sociology and so on.
