Synthesis Research of 4,4′-biphenol

以 2 ,6 -二叔丁基苯酚为原料 ,通过氧化偶联、还原 ,再利用芳烃作溶剂 ,对甲苯磺酸作催化剂脱叔丁基来制备 4,4′ -联苯二酚 ,总收率 81% .

In the present paper,a new highly-effective synthesis method is introduced.4,4-biphenol was synthesized with 2,6-di-tert-butyl-phenol and tert-butyl alcohol as starting materials via oxidative coupling,reduction,de-tert-butylation with p-toluene sulfonic acid as catalytic agent and aroma as solvent.
