Study on the Oriental Leafhopper Genus Kunasia Distant (Homoptera: Cicadellidae)

In the present paper re descriptions are provided for the Oriental leafhopper genus Kunasia Distant and its type species, K. nivosa Distant. A new species, Kunasia carina sp. nov. from Malaysia is described and the genus is placed in Stegelytrinae, new placement.

本文对东洋区的短胸叶蝉属 Kunasia Distant及其模式种 :白痕短胸叶蝉 Kunasianivosia Distant进行了再描记。另外 ,记述了采自马来西亚的 1个新种 :脊唇短胸叶蝉 K.carina,sp. nov.,新种模式标本保藏于英国自然历史博物馆。该属现被归于 Stegelytrinae亚科。1 .白痕短胸叶蝉 K.novisa Distant,中国新记录 ,泰国新记录 (图 1～ 9)Kunasia novisa Distant,1 90 7:339,Fig. 2 1 6.体长 (包括前翅 ) :♂ 5.4mm,♀ 6.5mm。分布 :缅甸 (德林达依 ,密达 ) ;中国 (云南 ) ;泰国 (昌迈 )。观察标本 :1♂ ,中国云南 ,勐海～车里途中 ,1 0 0 0 m,1 957- -2 3 ,臧令超采 ;1♀ ,Thailand,Phuping Palace,Chang Mai Province,1 984- -3 0 ,M. Hayashi采。2 .脊唇短胸叶蝉 Kunasia carina,新种 (图 1 0～ 1 7)体长 (包括前翅 ) :♂ 6.6mm。正模 :♂ ,Sarawak:Gunong Mulu Nat.Park;Low secondary MV on riverbank;Site1 7.May,Nr.long Melinau,50 m. 3 1 3 4 41 ;J.D.Holloway,RGSMulu exped.,B.M.,1 978-2 0 6。该新种与白痕短胸叶蝉 K.nivosa Distant相似 ,但新种后唇基中央具长纵脊 ,尾节突起较粗壮 ,下生殖板略长 ,阳茎端部两分叉 。
