滇西地震序列类型的统计特征分析

Analysis of Statistical Characteristics for the Earthquake Sequence Patterns in West Yunnan

统计分析了滇西地区 196 6～ 2 0 0 1年 36个Ms≥ 5 0地震序列。结果表明 ,滇西地震类型的分布有一定的地域性 ,和震级的大小也有明显的关系 ,并得出最大地震 (Mmax)与次大地震 (M2 )的经验统计公式 ,以及最大余震的时间分布特征 。

Statistics and analysis of the 36 earthquake sequences with M s≥5 0 in west Yunnan from 1966 to 2001 are made.The results show that the distribution of the earthquake patterns has some regional feature and is related to magnitude.The empirical statistical formula of the relation between the maximum( M max )and the second maximum( M 2) earthquakes,time distribution characteristics of maximum aftershock and the method to determine the earthquake sequence patterns in west Yunnan are given in the paper.
