It is a new and original idea that builds GPS verifying place on the base of EDM s' and forms a multifunction surveying instrument verifying place by combining both of them. The multifunction verifying place can verify not only EDM but also GPS static & RTK precision. This paper expounds the designing main points of multifunction surveying instrument verifying place and introduces the functions and characteristics, with practical work.
