System Tracing on Political (Theoretical) Study of College Faculty

从历史的视角观察素有争议的高校教师政治理论学习制度 ,考证了解放战争期间我党培训“国统区”知识分子担任新解放区干部的实践创设了建国后知识分子思想改造运动的基本模式这一重要史实 ;分析了解放初期我党提出“团结、教育、改造”知识分子政策的历史背景 ;描述了建国后发端于北京大学的知识分子思想改造学习运动逐渐演化为高校教师政治理论学习制度这一发展过程的脉络 。

In this paper, the authors have, from the historical point of view, made observations on the political (theoretical) studies of college faculty, which has been a controversial matter. Some textual criticism is made on the practice in which our Party during the Liberation period trained intellectuals into being cadres for the liberated districts and the model in which the Party created ideological reform of intellectuals after the founding of our country. An analysis is made on the historical background in which our Party advanced the intellectual policy of 'unity, education and reform' in the early stage. A description is made on the development sequence of college faculty's political and theoretical studies originating from the political study movement in Beijing University after the founding of the country, which has laid a foundation for the revelation of the reasonable crux and limitations of the age of college faculty's political and theoretical study system.
