摘要
提出了基于双波长光纤光栅外腔半导体激光器增益饱和效应的全光波长转换方案 ,特点是可将输入信号同时转换到激光器的 2个波长上。在静态波长转换实验中 ,观察到了 15 5 4.8nm输入信号对激光器 15 31.5 nm与 15 49.4nm波长输出功率的增益饱和作用。
A scheme of all-optical wavelength converter based on the gain saturation effect in a double-wavelength laser diode with fiber grating external cavity is presented. The feature of the scheme is that the input signal can be converted to two wavelengths of the laser diode by using the wavelength converter. The gain saturation effects of optical injection at 1554.8 nm on output power at 1531.5 nm and 1549.4 nm are observed, which shows that input optical signal can be converted to two wavelengths of the double-wavelength laser diode simultaneously.
