阑尾炎病人住院费用与平均住院日的关系

Relationship between the Average Stay in Hospital and the Hospitalization Expenses of Patients with Appendicitis

目的 通过对阑尾炎病人住院费用与其平均住院日关系的分析 ,探讨阑尾炎病人平均住院日标准。方法 采用边际成本的分析方法来对阑尾炎病人平均住院日标准做一尝试性的平估。结果 阑尾炎住院病人的平均住院日标准为 7.2d ,手术和非手术病人的平均住院日标准分别为 7.8d和 4.8d。

Objective To explore how to determine the criterion of average stay in hospital of patients with appendicitis , according to the analysis of the relationship between the average stay in hospital and the hospitalization expenses of patients with appendicitis.Methods All the expenses of 377 hospitalized patients with appendicitis during 1999-2000 in this hospital were used as samples. Marginal cost method was tried to evaluate the average stay in hospital of patient with appendicitis .Results The average stay of hospitalized patient with appendicitis was 7.2 days , 7.8 for patients with surgical therapy and 4.8 days for non-surgical therapy cases.Conclusion The analytical method of marginal cost seems to have some benefits for exploring how to determine the criterion of average stay in hospital.
