三峡水利枢纽工程是一项规模巨大、举世瞩目的治理长江和开发长江的跨世纪工程,它包括枢纽主体工程、输变电工程和移民工程。具有防洪、发电、航运等综合经济效益。“九五”期间,三峡工程水轮发电机组、部分输变电设备、部分专用施工机械等成套设备处于采用引进技术、消化吸收和实现国产化的关键阶段;永久船闸、升船机、水工机械及大型金属结构等,主要立足于国内进行科技攻关解决关键技术问题并进行研制。因此,“九五”期间进行以上项目的科技攻关,重点解决关键技术问题,结合技术引进,消化吸收并大胆创新,为我所用,对三峡工程达到一流技术、一流质量、一流文明施工和对实现我国水电制造业和输变电制造业技术进步和加速实现国产化都具有重大意义。

The Three Gorges project is a giant across-century project that could be used for harnessing and controlling over the Yangtze River and has been attracting attention worldwide. The project involves the main works, transmission & distribution works and resettlement program. The main works will pay an important role in water control, power generation, and navigation improvement of the Yangtze River. During the period of the ninth five-year plan, turbine-generators, part of transmission & distribution equipment, part of special construction equipment used for the Three Gorges project are in the stage of technical transfer, and introduction, technical adaptation and a-doption, and realization of localization of manufactures. The development and research and solutions for the key technical issues for the permanent shiplock, the shiplift, and the hydraulic machinery and heavy metal structures are mainly dependent on the research institutes and manufacturers at home. The solutions for key technical issues, and introduction, absorption and innovation of technology will be of great significance for the Three Gorges project having first-rate technology, first-rate quality, and for promotion of the technical progress in hydropower and transmission & distribution manufacturing industries, as well as for speeding up the localization of manufactures.
