A Comparative Analysis of Cultural Origin of the Chinese and Western Institutions of Insurance Intermediaries——The Significance of Cultural Analysis in Economic Research

采用制度分析的方法 ,从文化分析的角度出发比较了西方和我国保险中介制度赖以产生和发展的文化背景和根源 ,对于我国保险中介制度发展中出现的种种问题提供了一种全新角度的解释 ,借此例示出重视文化分析在经济研究和实践中的意义。

Using the institutional approach, this paper compares the cultural background and origin from which the Chinese and Western institutions of insurance intermediaries have arisen and developed, thus providing a new explanation for the various problems in the development of the Chinese institution of insurance intermediaries and demonstrating the significance of cultural analysis in economic research and practice.
