The paper reviews the naissance of statistical institutions of Jiangxi and the development over each historical phase.It describes thoroughly the prosperity and the recession of the statistical affairs.The statistics of the Central Soviet Period is one of the brilliant pages in the history of China statistics development history.After the Liberation,statistics work had been developed circuitously and become stronger and stronger.Since 2000,especially after China’s entry of WTO,statistical projects have been facing both chances and challenges we never face before.
