摘要
主动网络是一种新型网络体系结构,它可以为网络协议、网络服务的快速升级和部署提供简单的网络平台。但是传统的网络管理模型不适应主动网络的管理,不能发挥主动网络的分布式计算能力。该文在分析传统网络管理模型的局限性的基础上,提出了主动网络管理模型(ANM),并以网络拓扑发现过程为例对两种网络管理模型进行了比较。
Active network is a kind of novel network architecture.It provides a simple networking platform,which is flexible and extensible at runtime and enables the rapid evolution and deployment of networking protocols and services.However,the traditional prototype of network management does not accommodate to the management of active networks,it cannot utilize the distributed computation capabilities that active networks provide.This paper introduces a novel prototype,the Active Network Management ,for effective network management on the basis of analysing the limitations of traditional prototype.An example,the networking topology discovery,in both prototypes is compared at the end of this paper.
