In recent years, many researchers have concentrated their attention on the condition monitoring and the fault diagnosis of induction motors. A large number of methods and techniques have been proposed. This paper generalizes and reviews those previous works, analyzes their advantages and deficiencies. This paper also discusses the researching pivots in the future.
