By analyzing oil and gas gathering process in Hekou Oil Production Factory, the substitution of electrochemical dehydration with stepped thermal-chemical settling dehydration is presented. A high efficiency oil and gas separator is developed for water pro-separation in crude oil, of which better result is achieved in field application ,with economic profit as much as 10 million yuan RMB.
