摘要
以聚乙烯吡咯烷酮为稳定剂 ,研究了苯乙烯 -甲基丙烯酸甲酯在极性溶剂中分散聚合的工艺条件对微球粒径及粒径分布的影响。实验表明 ,通过控制工艺条件 ,可以制得粒径均匀的共聚物微球。
Preparation of styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer particles with narrow size distribution was carried out by dispersion polymerization using polyvinylpyrrolidone as a dispersion stabilizer and azobisisobutyronitrile as initiator in ethanol-water media.The effects of stabilizer concentration,solvents and reaction temperature on the particle size and size distribution was investigated.The particle size decreased and size distribution became narrower with increasing stabilizer concentration.The ethanol/water ratio greatly affected the particle size and size distribution.The particle size increased and size distribution became wider when ethanol/water ratio increased.The dispersion polymerization could not be normally carried out if the concentration of ethanol was 50% or lower.The size and polydispersity of the particle increased with increasing polymerization temperature.Particles of 0.5~2.5 μm with narrow size distribution could be produced by controlling polymerization conditions.
