Flowering and Fruiting Characteristics of Chinese Fir in Shandou Seed Orchard

本文报道安徽山斗杉木种子园中部分无性系花芽在树冠上的分布及性状、花期的同步性、盛花期与座果率的关系以及不同无性系和不同采收期种子品质的差异等开花结实习性。同时,本文还提出了适于评价杉木种子园的种子品质指标。

This paper reports the flowering and fruiting characteristics of Chinese fir in Shndou Seed Orchard, Anhui, such as distribution and characters of flower buds, synchronism of flower phase, relationships between full-bloom stage and percentage of fertile fruit, differences of the seed quality of the various clones at different picking times. It gives an index of seed quality which is suitable to evaluate seeds from Chinese fir seed orchard.
