A scheme for generating even number atom Greenberger Horne Zerlinger(GHZ) state is presented.It is based on atom cavity field interaction,n separated cavities are all initially the vacuum states,the entanglement of these cavities is prepared by a two photon transition (as cascade if two off resonant dipole transitions).Subsequently,even number(2n) identical two level atoms,resonant with the cavities,are sent through the cavities,respectively.After interactions,the even number(2n) atoms are the GHZ states,while 2n cavities are left in the vacuum states.
