SYNTHESIS AND ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES OF POLYMERIC GUANIDINE AND BIGUANIDINE

摘要 采用熔融缩聚的方法合成了聚亚己基胍盐酸盐 (PHGC)及聚亚己基双胍盐酸盐 (PHBG)。应用气相渗透压法 (VPO)及粘度法测定了其分子质量 ,应用元素分析 ,FT- IR,XPS分析了聚合物的化学组成。 Polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride and polyexamethylene biguanidine hydrochloride were polycondensated in the melt. The number average molecular weight and the intrinsic viscosity were determined by VPO and by the viscosity of dilute polymer solution respectively. The element analysis, FT IR, XPS were used to investigate the chemical structure of obtained polymers. The antimicrobial activities of the polymer were measured by means of the minimal inhibition concentration( MIC ) and inhibited circles to different kinds of bacteria and fungi. The results show that the polymeric guanidine and biguanidine are effective of bacteriostasis.
