From 1988 to 1998,a lot of environmental monitoring data were obtained in the course of monitoring the radioactivity emitted by the Dayawan nuclear power station to its surrounding. The inherent laws behind the numerical data were discovered after the data were processed by the multivariate regression model and computer simulation. The results show that it is effective using this statistical method to analyse the environmental monitoring data of nuclear power station.
