COMBATING DESERTIFICATION AND REHABILITATING DEGRADED LAND WITH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN NORTHWEST CHINA

Abstrac The paper reviews the work to implement the project titled Research and Demonstration for Combating Desertification Technology, funded by State Key Technologies R&D Programme during the Ninth Five Year Plan of National Economic and Social Development. The achievements and innovations stemming from the project were evaluated systematically in order to of provide a reference for some academic and decision making institutions.
