An example of demolishing a large pool built with stone by hydraulic blasting is introduced, and the selection of blasting scheme and parameters is discussed. The desired blasting effects were achieved, the pool was broken up, the fragments were fit to clear away, the blasting vibration and blasting fly-rock were strictly controlled.
