通过回顾 2 0世纪世界建筑的发展历程 ,追溯中西方文化发展的痕迹 ,人类对于自身生存环境和在以西方文化为主流思想影响下发展起来的当代建筑的反思 ,在当前各种文化矛盾与冲突不确定性、多元性的思潮推动下 ,以及全球化趋势下 ,2 1世纪建筑必然会从“征服”走向“融合”。

Looking back upon the developing process of the world architecture of the 20th century, reviewing the development of the eastern culture and the western one, human beings begin to consider the living condition of their own and the modern architecture which is founded on the thought that is based on the western culture. Because of the Global Tendency and the indefinite and pluralism of the trend of thought in various civilization's contradictory and conflict, the architecture must come from conquest to merger in the 21 th century.
