摘要
本文分析了《大学英语》教材的利弊，强调专业英语在培养学生开放性和创新品质中的重要作用，提出了强化专业英语教学的思路。
The article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of COLLEGE ENGLISH textbooks, em- phasizes the important roles of English for specialities in cultivating the qualities of open mind and creativeness of students and points out the ways of strengthening the teaching of English for specialites.
