完善植物保护专业英语教学的几点思考

Reflections on Instruction of Specialized English for Plant Protection

就业调查研究表明植物保护方向的从业人员不仅需要具备扎实的实践能力,而且需要具备较强的专业英语阅读、理解和翻译能力,导致对植物保护专业英语的教学提出了新的要求。本文从植物保护专业英语教学的特点和现状出发,检查植物保护专业英语教学中存在的问题,检验教学实践,探讨了植物保护专业英语教学中的教师队伍构建、教材筛选、考评方式等问题,提出一些教学方法的改进策略,对提高植物保护专业英语教学质量和培养优秀全面的植保专业人才提供帮助。

Since the rapid development of the society,individuals working in the field should have the sufficient ability to read and translate specialized English for plant protection.It requires the improvements of teaching of Specialized English for Plant Protection.Based on the features of Plant Protection and the present situation of specialized English,some problems that affect the development of Specialized English for Plant Protection have been identified;furthermore,an integrated teaching instruction is discussed,covering the following subjects:teaching staff,students,course content,and assessment of the students' course learning.
