摘要 论述了如何动态地扩展标准Linux操作系统来增强其功能和安全性 ,阐述了在用户空间扩展Linux操作系统的方法 ,然后提出了一种基于代理的改进的扩展方法 ,并借助该方法给出了一个简单网络文件系统的实现框架 。 This paper demonstrated and compared all kinds of methods to extend and improve the functionality and security of standard linux operating system. We focused on how to extend the functionality and security of linux kernel completely in user space by interposing extension functionality at user level with better transparency and security to both linux and applications. An improved method based on agent implemented by means of object oriented design was also illustrated in detail. To demonstrate its usage and efficiency, the implementation of a simple network file system was proposed which allowed users to treat remote files exactly as if they were local according to the approach introduced above.
