Satellite Communication: Problems,Progress and Prospects

2001年国际卫星大会反映出了当前卫星发展的一些问题以及卫星通信的进展情况。涉及到的问题主要有 :中低轨卫星通信发展受挫后的进一步发展、与地面系统的结合、性能/价格和研发周期以及标准化和频谱资源争夺等。卫星通信的新进展主要有IP对卫星产业发展的驱动和宽带卫星的来临等。文章提出的建议主要有加强规模和竞争实力。

Satellite 2001 reflected the problems in current satellite development and progress made by satellite communication. The problems involve the further development of MLEO satellite communication after setback, integrating with earth systems, performance/ price rate, R&D circle, standardization and contest for frequency resources. The new progress in satellite communication industry includes propulsive force from IP and the advent of broadband satellite communication. This paper raises suggestion of expanding the industry scale and enhancing competitive ability while improving industry planning and being positive in standardization work.
