DDN是中国提供数据服务的最主要形式 ,但随着数据业务的发展 ,DDN面临着改造工作。利用ATM网络整合DDN具有诸多优点 ,ATM首先可作为本地DDN之间的骨干网络 。

DDN is the main means of delivering data service in China. However, with the development of data service, DDN needs to be remolded. There are many advantages using ATM networks to consodidate DDN. ATM networks could be used as core networks connecting local DDNs, and realize integration with existing DDN ultimately.
