本文叙述了用于创成式和专家CAPP系统以及机床与被加工零件成组匹配的表面描述方法.其中扩展了的零件加工表面集成(PMSS)概念,用于描述更复杂的零件;一台机床的有效功能以机床加工表面集合(MMSS)来描述,而一个柔性制造单元的有效功能以单元加工表面集合(CMSS)来代表,它是MMSS的复合.在讨论了表面集合性质之后,它指出了简化CAPP系境中的决策过程。符号特征匹配技术使零件表面集合有效地被机床表面集合所包容,从面自动生成柔性制造单元设计用的机床/零件矩阵。单元有效使用因子和成本评价准则的应用确保设计单元的效益。本文最后介绍了表面集合在CAPP系统和零件-机床匹配中的应用示例。
A surface-based descriptive method for generative expert process planning system, and machine part group formation is presented. The concept of Part Machining Surface Set (PMSS) introduced earlier is developed further to describe surfaces (features) to be generated for more complicated parts. The desired ( or available) functions of a machine tool are represented by a Machine Machining Surface Set (MMSS) while the function of a flexible manufacturing cell is represented by a Cell Machining Surface Set (CMSS), which is a compound of the indisidual MMSS. The properties of surface sets are discussed indicating that they simplify the search precess in CAPP. The Symbolic Feature Matching (SFM) method, introduced to match machining surface sets of parts and machine tools (PMSS with MMSS), is a new tool to generate the part/machine (or load/machine) matrix automatically for Flexible Manufacturing Cell Design. Cell utilization factor is introduced along with the cost-based criterion for overall cell efficiency. The application of surface sets in CAPP systems and in a part-machine matching systems is presented.
