《备急千金要方》(以下称《千金要方》)集唐以前中医治疗学之大成 ,于针灸一门亦可谓搜罗弘富 ,遍涉内、外、妇、儿各科。其所载妇人针方 91首 ,极简明、切用而易于掌握 ;所用穴位共 74穴 ,其中经外奇穴即占 2 3穴 ,大多为后世所不用 ,值得今人深入学习、研究。所治病种计 2 0种 ,涉经、带、胎产、妇科杂症各门。而《千金要方》本非针灸家之作 ,有此成就 ,实大不易。此 91方中灸多而针少 ,显示了孙氏对灸法的高度重视 ,在时下重针轻灸的情况下 ,《千金要方》中的灸疗思路及方法或可裨益今日之临床。

Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold for Emergencies is a complete collection of prescriptions for all diseases before the Tang Dynasty. The prescriptions for acupuncture alone include those for diseases in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, etc. The 91 prescriptions for gynaecopathies are simple and easy to master. Among the 74 acupuncture points used, there are 23 extraordinary points, most of which are not being used now. The author thinks that further study is necessary on these points. These prescriptions can be used to treat 20 different kinds of gynaecopathies, including diseases of the menstruation, leukorrhea, labor and miscellaneous women's diseases. In the 91 prescriptions, moxibustion is used more frequently than acupuncture, and this can serve as reference for modern doctors, who pay more attention to acupuncture than moxibustion.
