DETERMINATION OF PRECIPITATED BARIUM SULPHATE BY RAPID CONVERSION USING CLOSED—VESSEL MICROWAVE HEATING METHOD

利用微波加热在全聚四氟乙烯压力釜内用纯碱转化硫酸钡,使转化完全所需时间由文献报道的5小时缩至5分钟,大大加快了分析速度。和标准方法对照测定,对分析数据进行显著性检验表明:两种方法的测定结果不存在显著性差异。

A closed—vessel microwave conversion method is described for the rapid determina- tion of precipitated barium sulphate.A sample is converted into barium carbonate with sodium car- bonate solution in a teflon closed—vessel by using microwave heating for 4—5 min at 500w of mi- crowave power. Nine samples can be converted in every time test.The method is simple,and save time.The analytical results are satisfactory as against the standard method.
