ANALYSIS ON FEASIBILITY OF RUNNING "SHORTENED TRAIN" FOR URBAN RAIL TRANSIT SYSTEM

分析我国城市轨道交通系统客流特点 ,以及非高峰运营时段列车运行的虚糜现象 ,论证开行编挂辆数少的“短列”

The specialities of passenger flow for the urban rail transit system in China, as well as the empty and waste appearance of the train operation during the non high passenger flow operating period, are analyzed. The feasibility of running 'shortened train' with fomation of less coaches has been proposed, and its economic benefits are explored.
