中国入世,意味着经济、科技和教育的全球化已成现实。入世后,随着国际交往的日益频繁,我国大学的教育思想、教育观念、教育内容、教育组织方式等都将发生重大变化,大学与社会,大学与外界的联系将更加密切。作为高校教育教学工作重要组成部分的学生管理工作,也将面临前所未有的新情况、新形势。积极探索新时期高校学生管理工作的新模式,是其创新和发展面临的一个急待解决的现实问题。

China' s entry into WTO indicates the realit y of the globalization in econo my,sc ience and education.With the increasingly frequent inte rnational contac t after the entry,t he educational ideaology,conception,content and organizat ional pattern are all faced with dramatic changes,and the relationship with the society and the outside world is becoming much closer.Thus,as an essential co mponen t of the education work,the man-agement work of the students is also e xposed to new situations.Therefore,it is urgent to explore actively the new mo de of the student management in colleges and universities in the new period.
