摘要
本文根据笔者自行设计的一份调查问卷,对我院学生的基本英语学习状况以及目前所使用的《新编大学英语》在我院英语教学中的适用性等问题进行了调查、分析和探讨。认为该教材有着选材新颖,注重培养学生表达能力和交际能力的特色,但是在教学内容的编排和教学模式的运用上也存在着一些问题,不太适应我院的具体情况。我们应明确我院当前的英语教学重点,探索、找寻出更适合我院大学英语教学的教材和教法,以不断提高我院的四、六级通过率和英语整体水平。
Based on a self-designed questionnaire,this pa per aims to reveal the basic English learning con-dition of the students in our institu te.It also comes to the conclusion th at New College English and its r elated teaching methods are not adequately feasible to our students .More suita ble text books and teaching methods should be adopted in order to improve the o verall English level in our institute.
