This paper gives the description of the efficiency,the environmental acceptability,the disposal costs and the operating acceptability of the chlorination disposal. Therefore,chlorination disposal is compared with other methods in order to more efficiently prevent the diffusion of overseas aquatic biota in ballast water. [
