This article refers to the synthesis of methyl isopropyl ketone using isobutylaldehyde-acetic acid as raw materials.Emphysis is put on some breakthrough points of this state-of-the -art technology,the result of the experiment shows that the pilot plant can rapidly transfer to a production facility.From the quality and parameter view point,the R&D program was a successful one.
