Dialogue between Heaven and Buddhism(Daoism)in The True Meaning of the Lord of Heaven

摘要 《天主实义》基于天主教之天主论批评了佛道所谓的空无宇宙论 ,以及佛教的“我”或佛观念。由于对佛道的基本态度是“易” ,致使《天主实义》的天佛 (道 )对话表现出否定的性质。尽管如此 ,对话也揭示了中西两种宗教思想的根本差异。 In The True Meaning of the Lord of Heaven ,criticisms are made,in terms of the Catholic doctrine of God,at the so called voidness world view of Buddhism or Daoism,as well as at the concept of'leads to I'or Buddha in Buddhism.Because its fundamental attitude toward buddhism consist of'yi'(change),it leads to the negation character of the dialogue manifested in The True Meaning of the Lord of Heaven .Despite of this,the dialogue reveal basic differences between the two kinds of religious thoughts of the West and China.
