During his work in Chongqing where he was the head leader of Southwest bureau of Communist Party of China, Deng Xiaoping did great contribution. He exerted himself to the Party抯 development which provides an organizational guarantee for Chongqing抯 development. He gave priority to economic development which opens up a new stage for financial and economic work in Chongqing. He attaches importance to education and culture which lay a solid foundation for the development of advanced culture in Chongqing.
