As we pay more and more attention to our living surroundings, the art of sculpture has increasingly aroused general concern. Nowadays, there are a variety of styles in the art of sculpture. In China, which has a splendid traditional culture, it has become a topical subject for the sculptors and the public how to build up the art of sulpture with Chinese styles and characteristics. This paper summarizes the traditional sculptures of China, and makes a preliminary inquiry into the freehand brushwork in the sculpture of the Han Dynasty.
