江泽民同志提出的“三个代表”的重要思想 ,对高校产生了积极而又深远的影响 ,高校必须全面贯彻落实“三个代表”的重要思想 ,培养满足时代要求的合格人才。高校是先进生产力的重要动力源 ,要把培养合格人才作为根本任务 ,使大学生成为先进生产力的生力军。高校是传播先进文化的重要阵地 ,要使大学生成为具有先进科学精神和人文精神的社会主义事业建设者和接班人。高校是人民群众接受高等教育的重要场所 。

Three Represents' thought advanced by Jiang Zeming has exerted great influence upon our higher education.We must implement this thought to the letter in our universities and train qualified talents to meet the needs of the time.As an impetus of social productive force, our higher edcation should take it as its essential task to train qualified talents who will become the backbones of social productive force.As a stage for communication of advanced cultures,the higher education should train successors with spirits of science and humanity to our socialist cause.As places for the public higher education,colleges and universities should take it as their starting points of all the work to safeguard their students' interests.\;
